Jessica Byrd
Founding Partner
Jessica Byrd founded Three Point Strategies in 2015 to provide a home for electoral strategy that centers racial justice and is transformational rather than transactional.
Jessica is a nationally renowned political strategist known for her unapologetically people-powered approach to campaign strategy and is a relentless capacity builder for the independent Black Political Ecosystem. Having worked in 43 states, you can find her at the side of the most exciting races to elect Black women in the country, training hundreds of leaders, and building tools to serve the Movement.
She is one of the architects of the Movement for Black Lives Electoral Justice Project and the Black Campaign School and has raised nearly $10 million for Black electoral strategy and Movement building. Jessica has served behind the scenes of the groundbreaking Democracy in Color project and the first-ever Women of Color Presidential Forum, She The People. She made history while serving as a chief strategist for Black women US Senate Candidates, Congresswomen, Mayors of major metropolitan cities, and serving as the Chief of Staff to Georgia Gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams.
In 2016, Jessica was named the January Woman to Watch by Essence Magazine, “12 New Faces of Black Leadership” by Time Magazine, and Rolling Stone named her one of the most influential millennials shaping the 2016 election.
Jessica is made up of Ohio winters, working class parents, Toni Morrison novels, Leslie Knope idealism and anything with guacamole on it.
Kara Hollingsworth

Kara Hollingsworth brings nearly two decades of senior campaign leadership, political program development and campaign management experience to the movement. Over her career, Kara has managed highly contested legislative and judicial campaigns, served as a Congressional liaison, advised progressive candidates and organizations on strategy for effective advocacy and winning campaigns and had the honor of serving President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign.
Kara is one of the preeminent experts in the country for state based candidate recruitment seeding one of the most successful candidate recruitment, mechanisms in North Carolina political history. Kara’s passion for training, facilitation and curriculum development led her to serving as the Director of Public & Political Leadership for Wellstone Action. Kara’s leadership expanded their efforts to support national and state based progressive organizations and built critical political leadership pipeline infrastructure in many states across the country.
Kara lives in North Carolina with her husband Donte, where they are raising two wonderful children, Nia and Dominique. Kara is made up of chocolate city history, fierce loyalty, “watch the quiet ones” power, and hours & hours building the lego cities of her dreams.
Naomi Long
Partner
Naomi Long is one of the premier training, facilitation, and leadership coaches in the country. She has two decades of experience that spans some of the most pivotal social justice issues of our time: the DREAM Act, education funding policy, prison abolition, and ending the War on Drugs. She served in leadership positions at the Justice Policy Institute, Drug Policy Alliance, Campaign 2 End AIDS, Wellstone Action, and most recently as Partner at The Management Center, where she designed the highly sought after People of Color and Indigenous Cohort training for Staff to help support non-profit workers. Naomi also works as a Core Trainer for Training for Change. She is a master at coaching all types of people; those who see no obstacle too big and others who are burned out and fed up.
A quintessential Libra and introvert, Naomi is a fifth-generation Texan whose family’s property was awarded a Land Heritage certification.
Naomi is made up of U.S. military veterans, seven siblings, dancing to all kinds of music, staging elaborate pranks, and pimple popping videos.

Lauren Jobson-Ahmed
Chief Financial Officer
Lauren Jobson-Ahmed nurtures a re-imagination of organizational infrastructure, governance, fiscal health, and strategy in alignment with collective social movement building. Lauren is a multifaceted leader who has led and co-created organizations and movements, curriculum and research-based interventions, fundraising and philanthropic relations across the intersections of racial, economic, carceral, disability, education, electoral, arts, immigration, Islamic and housing justice movements in New York and Los Angeles. She has secured over $16 million in federal and foundation funding to resource directly impacted communities and institutions. Her love for elevating progressive leaders of color in transformational positions of power is ancestral and she is delighted to continue this legacy as the CFO for Three Point Strategies.
She is made up of her Abuelita’s signature Cuban dishes, fairy New Yorker godmother energy, and can be found galavanting across Brooklyn on her red bike, unapologetically singing disco hits.

Arnetia Fogg Dupree
Senior Campaign Manager
Arnetia Fogg Dupree is the Senior Campaign Manager at Three Point Strategies. She was the first official hire and has spent the last three years building programming and writing campaign plans to elect Black women and serve Black people. Arnetia spent three years managing the EMILY’s List membership program and is a skilled researcher, an expert at call-time and fundraising operations, and campaign messaging to win. You can find her in the weeds of spreadsheets and answering the phone calls of Black women elected leaders in every corner of the country, alleviating fears and innovating to win. She is Three Point’s secret weapon and has been instrumental in reimagining campaign strategy and electing leaders like North Carolina Supreme Court Justice Anita Earls.
Arnetia is a graduate of Elon University in North Carolina, where she first discovered her passion for activism and love for campaigns. She and her husband are proud of their PG County roots where they host tables full of comfort food for family and friends during the holidays.
Arnetia is made up of long talks with her mom & dad, secret languages with her sisters, & and freedom dreams for Black women & girls.

Brianna Pope
Operations Manager
Brianna Pope is the Three Point Strategies Operations Manager. She is the chief air traffic controller for Three Point and has been vital to the expansion and growth of major events, campaigns, and the financial operation. Brianna has coordinated the Movement for Black Lives Fellowship program, the major volunteer volunteer effort for the She the People Presidential Forum, and even served as the Interim Campaign Manager for Lesley McSpadden for Ferguson City Council Campaign.
Brianna is a playwright, fiction writer, and avid reader. She is a graduate of Bard College in Upstate New York and was born and raised in San Diego California.
Brianna is made up of California sunshine, sarcasm and abundance, naps, text love letters with her sister, and cooking the perfect steak.
